Today was a busy day of tidying up the house while mom was at work. I got my room, my bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room SPOTLESS. I never really like cleaning, but i love the outcome, when everything is clean =) Dad & I then took a drive over to the chruch, to water our garden.
I came home and decided to read the book that Dax lent me. Its called " Why the toast always lands butter side down" and i must say I really like it, i couldn't seem to put it down, which is amazing i think, because i am not the one to read, at all!
After about 6 chapter, i put the book down, and successfully figured out another tune on the mandolin. I really like the fact that i can figure out how to play things by ear now. I just picked up my mandolin for the first time in about 2 years, and i got the G, D, C & E minor chords down pat in less then 15 min =) I am still trying to wrap my head around strumming and using a pick, its much different then a bow. But i am liking the challenge.
