Day 81

Well... today is m 81st day! And i have to say that i had an amazing summer here in the Comox Valley =) And i can barely wait till the summer of 2011. But in the meantime, i didn't want to stop writing in a blog so i came up with "Milenas Blog". I hope everyone who has been reading my 81 Days of summer blog has enjoyed it and got a few laughs, ill see you next year!

Day 80!

Today was another GREAT day at school! My classes are awesome and i have great teacher, which makes school so much more fun =)

This semester i have ....

-Foods studies ( which i just learned today, gives me my Food safe!)

-Math (Well math isnt my favorite, but the teacher is super positive, which helps a bit)

-Art ( super cool art teacher, and by the sounds of it, its going to be an intense art class)

-Biology ( I am super excited about this class, i love Biology! I have it with Holly & Brittany, and for some reason i was the only one excited to find out we get to dissect things =P )

So i am pretty happy =)

Day 79

Well even though its no longer summer, i mite as well finish my 81 days =)

Today was the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! And I am officially a grade 11 student at Mark. R Isfeld! It was great to be back at school! Today was a short day, only enough time for the welcome back assembly and to get our lockers, we were only there from 11- around 1, and after Holly & Brittany came over. We had some fun making some cookies , watching a movie, and playing with Barbies ( lol.. yes.. thats right.. 16 year old girls playing with barbies).. we found them while looking through old boxes...

And after everyone left, i was cleaning the kitchen and took the rug outside to shake it out and found a nice surprise. I looked up in the sky, to see a rainbow and an amazing arrangement of clouds! So i guess it pays to help clean the kitchen ;)

Day 78

Well i guess i must have miscounted =P Today is my last day of summer, and my grade 11 school year starts tomorrow, so i guess i only had 78 days of summer. I am so excited to go back to school! I know it sounds crazy, a teenager liking school, but i do! Last year was probably my best school year out of the history of Milena's school years. Its crazy to think im already in grade 11! It will be good to see all my school friends again , and to get back into a routine.

(PS:The candles were just an experiment. Ive always wanted to try and take pictures with candles, and today i finally did it. Simple as a that =)

Day 77

Today was a pretty decent day. I went to church with the Hodacseks, because Mom was busy with Kim.

Once i got home, i took over the living room and started going through some boxes of old stuff, while i watched " Over the Hedge". It was kinda neat to find a whole bunch of old treasures from when i was little =)

After i was done with that, i decided it would probably be a smart idea to get all my school stuff ready, since school starts in 2 days! I also went and organized all my pictures on my computer, and boy oh boy, do i have ALOT! Mom wanted me to start a Photography blog where i could put up some of my best pictures ,which i did, but i decided to delete it because it took way to long to upload all my pictures. So i went and organized my Flickr account, so now im going to try and keep that up to date. Well i think i have had enough organizing for one day... so im off to bed! *Goodnight*

Day 76

Today started out by making some blueberry pancakes, SOOO YUMMY! ( we used the blackberry syrup Maggie & I made the other day) then it was of to the farmers market to get some fresh veggies and treats with Mom & Kim. Then i headed back over to Kailis, while Mom & Kim when to some festival. We hung out and played the wii for a good 4 hours =) Im pretty sure we have mastered that game by now..lol..

Day 74 & 75

Day 74
Today and yesterday was tons of fun!

Mom was at work, and so instead of staying home alone, i wandered on down to the Hodacseks =) We went blackberry picking down at Airforce beach, then went back to their house to make some blackberry syrup! And Maggie even made me some sugar-free syrup, with splenda instead of sugar. We took a trip to super store and got some pizza for supper. After supper we went to our joint activity and played an interesting game of Chinese spoons and dodgeball, then i went back to Kailis for a sleepover. Day 75 consisted of helping out with chores, making delicious sniker doodles, going to walmart, and us kids got to go out for lunch at the Wok box with Maggie, Ron & Don =) I have never been there before, and it officially my new favorite place to eat!

I came home around 3 ish, and now its time for grocery/back to school shopping.
